House Size for Existing Conditions

From the schematic measurements we took on Wednesday I estimate that the footprint of the house (first floor) is approximately 5,800 sf.  If you double this and them add half of the basement and half for the attic you have approximately 18,000 sf.  This will be verified after the existing conditions drawings are completed.  I am waiting for a revised quote from them.
