Monday Meeting Notes for 12/10/12

1)      General overview and review of Kitchen and Master Bath Interiors. 
2)      Kitchen

• Review top of Island - Wood or stone Pete is going to review with Anne.  Leaning toward stone.  PS will supply images or samples of "Super White" granite
• Microwave in Island – drawer or door?
  Still need to confirm this.
• Hood finish
  Still need to confirm this.
• Confirm apron style for sink
  Still need to confirm this.
• Pulls and hardware review

3)      Bar Area

• Leaded glass for cabinet doors.
  This will be an up charge of $300.00 per door
• Lights in upper cabinet and glass shelves.

  Still need to confirm this.  Stained or paint grade.
• Review floor pattern

  Confirmed that the transition and the area in front of the bar will all be stained trim

4)      TV room

• Wainscoting panel options – review and discuss
  Agreed on wainscoting option on description alone.  The panels will be similar to the cabinet doors.  The sample panel will be on site on Tuesday 12/11/12.
• Finish – painted or stained
  All finishes in this area are to be painted except for the beams
• AV requirements
  Still need to confirm this.
• Stair details and finish
  Stairs will have painted risers, skirts, balusters and newels.  The handrails and newel caps are to be stained.

5)      Hall

• Molding profile for LED lights
  JB to send profile 

6)      Kitchen Terrace

• Raised or at grade
  JB is working on discussed design.  Currently to be raised with steps toward yard and steps toward garage and side doors.

  From breakfast nook to space between kitchen window and mudroom door.
• Grill location
  To be determined.
• Plantings
  To be determined.

7)      Master Bathroom

• Vanity Design
  Confirmed as drawn.  Need to confirm top as stone or wood.
• Vanity Finish
  White painted
• Fan locations
  Confirmed that there will be 3 fans.  One in shower near door, one cetered on vanity and one in WC.  all will turn on together.

Archia presented a version of the contract that was to act as a intermediate contract until scope is determined and more detail on phase one can be detailed.  Updated contract and proposal is due by Friday 5/25/12.

Deposit for project ($25,000.00) was received and first installment was received ($50,000.00).
